Position Overview
The Physical Director / Physical Trainer is responsible for planning and conducting physical education programs, promoting fitness, and organizing sports activities for students. The role focuses on developing students physical health, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct regular physical training (PT) and exercise sessions for students.
· Develop structured physical fitness programs suitable for different age groups.
· Encourage students to participate in sports and fitness activities.
· Train students in various sports and athletic activities.
· Prepare teams for inter-school/inter-college competitions.
· Identify and nurture talented students in sports.
· Organize annual sports meets and athletic competitions.
· Plan and coordinate sports activities during institutional events and celebrations such as Independence Day and Republic Day.
· Support extracurricular sports and wellness programs.
· Ensure safety of students during physical training and sports activities.
· Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
· Provide guidance on injury prevention and basic fitness practices.
· Maintain sports grounds, courts, and gym facilities.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment.
· Maintain records of sports participation and achievements.
