Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Core PHP and Laravel.
- Translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Write unit and feature tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams.
Requirements:
- 5 years of professional PHP development experience (Core PHP + Laravel).
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and time/space complexity analysis, with the ability to build performance-efficient backend systems.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Experience working with caching systems (e.g., Redis) and background jobs/queues.
- Understanding of scalability, concurrency, and backend performance optimization.
- Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with PHPUnit and automated testing practices.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with queues and background job processing.
- Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.
- Frontend experience (Vue.js or React.js).
