Senior Laravel PHP Developer

Job Summary:

· We are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel framework to lead our backend development team.

· The ideal candidate will not only design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications but also guide a team of developers, drive technical decisions, and ensure successful project delivery.

· Strong experience with Microsoft Azure is required for cloud architecture, deployment, and team-wide best practices.

· This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring, code governance, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex backend systems and RESTful APIs using Laravel and PHP.

· Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions using Eloquent ORM and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

· Oversee deployment, management, and scaling of applications on Microsoft Azure, including services like App Services, Azure Databases, Queues, Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Implement secure, testable, and efficient code while enforcing team adherence to best practices (SOLID principles, MVC architecture).

· Integrate third-party services, APIs, and frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).

· Conduct regular code reviews, drive refactoring efforts, and minimize technical debt across the team.

· Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering skill growth and knowledge sharing.

· Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps, and other teams to align on requirements and timelines.

· Lead technical discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.

· Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

· Establish and maintain development standards, processes, and documentation for the team.
