Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel framework to lead our backend development team.
The ideal candidate will not only design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications but also guide a team of developers, drive technical decisions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure is required for cloud architecture, deployment, and team-wide best practices.
This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring, code governance, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex backend systems and RESTful APIs using Laravel and PHP.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions using Eloquent ORM and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Oversee deployment, management, and scaling of applications on Microsoft Azure, including services like App Services, Azure Databases, Queues, Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement secure, testable, and efficient code while enforcing team adherence to best practices (SOLID principles, MVC architecture).
Integrate third-party services, APIs, and frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
Conduct regular code reviews, drive refactoring efforts, and minimize technical debt across the team.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering skill growth and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps, and other teams to align on requirements and timelines.
Lead technical discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Establish and maintain development standards, processes, and documentation for the team.
