Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate
PHP / Fullstack Developer with at least 2 years of experience in building robust web applications. As part of the dynamic tech team at Kidvento, you'll be instrumental in creating scalable platforms tailored for the education ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in PHP-based web application development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with solid experience in React.js (Next.js is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Strong understanding of MySQL, including database design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of web security best practices (authentication, data protection, secure APIs).
- Awareness of UI/UX principles and experience building responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and debugging capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel or CodeIgniter) and React.js / Next.js.
- Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern front-end practices.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Design and manage MySQL database schemas, queries, and optimizations.
- Participate across the full development lifecycle requirements analysis, planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues while continuously improving application reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps basics.
- Prior experience in EdTech or building scalable platforms for education.
