Role Overview

This role involves building and maintaining WordPress websites for clients using PHP. The ideal candidate will write clean, scalable code and collaborate cross-functionally with designers and other developers. The position also includes technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and occasional client training or support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, and JavaScript

Write efficient, modular, and well-documented code

Optimize website performance and page speed

Identify and fix bugs and technical issues

Collaborate with designers and developers to implement features and design changes

Provide client support and documentation as needed

Stay current with WordPress, PHP, and front-end development best practices

Integrate AI tools or workflows where relevant to improve efficiency

Required Skills

Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, HTML, and JavaScript

Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization

Familiarity with debugging tools and version control (e.g., Git)

Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Basic understanding of website security and SEO-related development practices
