Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. You should have a solid understanding of web development principles and be proficient in PHP and Laravel frameworks including best hands on in HTML and CSS (responsive)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
- Act as an individual contributor, owning features and modules end-to-end.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Implement and maintain payment gateway integrations, including Stripe (subscriptions, one-time payments, webhooks, refunds).
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to projects.
- Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Continuously optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong understanding of the Laravel framework.
- Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations, especially Stripe.
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
