Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Design and manage databases using MySQL or PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Create and integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS is highly desirable.
- Collaborate with Airtel's cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software deployed on Airtel's cloud infrastructure.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices (e.g., SOLID principles).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in PHP web development.
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem (e.g., Eloquent, Blade, Queues).
- Solid proficiency in frontend technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, containers). Direct experience with any major cloud provider is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate into a client's team environment seamlessly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
