About The Role
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our talented team at Accion Labs in Bangalore. This is a permanent position ideal for professionals with over six years of experience in backend development, particularly with PHP and Python. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our web applications, including WordPress-based platforms and standalone systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications. Your expertise will help ensure the robustness, security, and efficiency of our digital solutions, contributing directly to our clients success and the company's growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in PHP and Python programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Codeigniter, and Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, especially with legacy systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in development.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, and CSS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing PHP and Python-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design and develop new features and modules in accordance with project requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
