About The Role
This is a full-time on-site role based in Gurgaon for a Lead PHP Developer. The Lead PHP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based applications. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application performance and scalability. Additionally, the developer will mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leading development initiatives that impact global clients and contribute to the company's growth trajectory.
Qualifications
- Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL
- Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API design
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications aligned with project requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to deliver seamless digital solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs or performance issues promptly, implementing effective solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of development standards, best practices, and documentation.
