About The Role

This is a full-time remote role for a PHP Developer at Suitepedia. The PHP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power Suitepedia's content and learning platform. The role requires writing clean, efficient PHP code, integrating third-party services, and optimizing database interactions to ensure high performance and scalability. Collaboration with front-end developers is essential to facilitate seamless data flow and user experience. The developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and adhere to best practices in software development. Troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements based on user feedback, and supporting the continuous improvement of Suitepedia's technical ecosystem are integral parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with a focus on PHP and server-side logic.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Foundational Front-End Development skills to facilitate effective collaboration on integrations and user-facing features.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including writing optimized queries.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, SuiteScript, or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Experience working remotely within distributed teams, demonstrating strong communication and self-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
