PHP Developer

Role Overview

The PHP Developer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend systems for a large-scale digital platform. The role requires expertise in PHP development, backend architecture, and database management to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. The candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing core functionalities, improving system efficiency, and ensuring secure and seamless user experience across all features of a government project.

Key Responsibilities

• Restore and optimize the existing PHP-based web portal
• Debug and resolve issues related to content pages, and interactive features
• Ensure website performance, security, and compatibility across devices and browsers
• Coordinate with the internal team on-site for timely delivery
• Support ongoing content updates related to the project

Requirements

• 4–5 years of solid PHP development experience
• Strong command over MySQL/MariaDB and server-side scripting
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end integration
• Experience working on government or tourism portals is an advantage
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar) preferred
• Must be available to join immediately and work on-site
