Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced PHP Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in PHP, Symfony, and SQL, along with strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide development teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to define and align technical roadmaps.
- Lead the adoption of architectural patterns, frameworks, and coding standards across projects.
- Optimize database performance through SQL design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Conduct architectural and code reviews, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and security.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development and architecture.
- 7+ years of strong expertise in the Symfony framework (mandatory).
- 10+ years of proven experience in SQL design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Solid experience in designing and delivering large-scale, complex web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of software design principles, architectural patterns, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
