Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As a Photographer and Videographer at DROPZ, you will be the hands and eyes behind how each drop is captured, framed, and remembered. This is a high-ownership, fast-moving role for someone who thrives in a 0 to 100 environment, takes accountability for craft and delivery, and wants to build a living content library that fuels culture and commerce.

What You'll Do

  • Shoot high-quality product photography and video for drops, using consistent lighting and composition so listings, campaigns, and social content feel unmistakably DROPZ across every release.
  • Capture lifestyle and creator content with clear direction on set, guiding talent and small crews to hit planned shots while keeping energy natural, confident, and aligned to the drop narrative.
  • Own pre-production by translating briefs into tight shotlists, references, and location needs, then aligning with marketing and creative on timelines so shoot days run smoothly and outputs match intent.
  • Set up and troubleshoot core production basics, including lighting setups, framing, and clean audio capture, so editors receive usable footage with minimal fixes and fewer reshoots.
  • Build a repeatable on-set workflow, including slate notes, scene labeling, and quick on-camera checks, so coverage is complete and the final edit has options for pacing, hooks, and cutdowns.
  • Deliver organized raw files, selects, and notes using disciplined naming conventions and folder structures, so handoffs to editors are frictionless and turnaround stays fast during drop weeks.
  • Maintain a BTS library that captures process, people, and moments, then tag and archive it for future campaigns, hiring content, and creator partnerships without scrambling for assets later.
  • Collaborate daily with editors and designers to clarify story beats, prioritize selects, and lock deliverables, ensuring campaign content batches land on schedule and feel cohesive across formats.
  • Run quality checks before delivery, verifying exposure, focus, sound, and frame consistency, then reshoot or patch gaps quickly so we never ship content that weakens brand trust.
  • Manage file backups and storage hygiene, keeping masters safe and retrievable, so we protect brand memory and avoid production risk during high-volume content cycles.

Who You Are

  • You have 12 to 24 months of hands-on shooting experience across product and lifestyle, and you can deliver clean, consistent outputs even when timelines are tight and priorities shift.
  • You understand how to light products and people, and you adjust quickly for mixed environments, ensuring frames look intentional rather than accidental across shoots and locations.
  • You can run pre-production with minimal oversight, turning a brief into references, shotlists, and a clear plan that makes shoot days efficient and reduces back-and-forth.
  • You are comfortable directing talent and creators with respectful clarity, getting what we need while keeping the set collaborative and low friction for everyone involved.
  • You treat audio as part of the story, capturing clean dialogue and ambient sound, and you know the basics of monitoring levels so editors are not forced into heavy repair work.
  • You are disciplined about file management, backups, and handoffs, and you take pride in delivering well-labeled folders, selects, and notes that save the team hours.
  • You communicate early when something is at risk, propose solutions, and take ownership until it is resolved, rather than waiting for someone else to catch the issue.
  • You care about culture and are excited by a 0 to 100 startup environment, bringing daily intensity, long-term commitment, and a mindset of building the team, not just completing tasks.
  • You have strong taste and curiosity, referencing trends and storytelling patterns, while still adapting to DROPZ brand direction and feedback without defensiveness.
  • You can manage multiple deliverable types, including raw, selects, and campaign batches, and you hold yourself to a quality bar that protects DROPZ credibility.

What We Offer

  • A front-row seat to build a culture-first platform from 0 to 100, with real ownership over how DROPZ is seen, remembered, and talked about through content.
  • High-trust creative responsibility with clear expectations, where your speed, craft, and systems directly shape drop performance and brand momentum.
  • The chance to build a scalable content library and production workflow that becomes part of DROPZ infrastructure, not just one-off deliverables.
  • Long-term growth for people who show startup readiness, accountability, and consistency, with increasing scope as you prove you can own outcomes end to end.
