Job Description

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Delivery - Lead end-to-end development of backend services and web applications using PHP and Laravel - Own technical planning, estimations, and sprint execution to ensure timely and high-quality releases - Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and reusable patterns across the team - Review code, guide refactoring, and ensure maintainability, performance, and security of applications Architecture & Collaboration - Design scalable application architecture and contribute to technical decision-making and trade-offs - Collaborate with product and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Work with frontend and QA teams to ensure smooth integration, testing, and release readiness Mentorship & Continuous Improvement - Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical guidance to strengthen team capability - Identify bottlenecks and improve development workflows, deployment practices, and operational reliability Minimum Qualifications: - 5â€9 years of professional experience in backend/web development with strong hands-on expertise in PHP - Strong experience building applications using Laravel, including routing, middleware, authentication, and ORM usage - Experience leading modules/teams, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering execution - Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: RESTful APIs, application security, performance optimization, and debugging - Education: BTECH / BCA / MCA / MTECH Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs and service-oriented backend components in Laravel - Proven ability to guide architecture decisions, manage technical debt, and improve codebase health over time - Strong experience with database design and query optimization for high-traffic applications - Familiarity with automated testing practices and improving release confidence through better test coverage - Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
