Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering pharmaceuticals to patients based on physician prescriptions. The role requires a high level of expertise, responsibility, and a willingness to assist patients by providing accurate information and solutions. The pharmacist will also support other medical services and maintain compliance with all legal and organizational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Management

• Organize the pharmacy efficiently to enable quick and easy identification of products.
• Maintain control over delivery, stocking, labeling, and storage of medicines to prevent expiry or deterioration.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding pharmaceuticals.

Prescription Review and Execution

• Review physician prescriptions for appropriateness, accuracy, and legality before dispensing.
• Dispense medicines according to prescriptions while providing guidance on usage.

Patient Support and Counseling

• Listen to patient needs carefully and provide accurate information and advice.
• Maintain detailed patient histories and records of prescribed medications, especially for heavy medication.

Medical Assistance

• Support other medical services such as administering injections, monitoring blood pressure, or measuring temperature.
• Assist in mobile OPDs, health camps, and emergency medical situations as required.

Coordination and Reporting

• Liaise with healthcare personnel and medical officers to exchange relevant patient information.
• Report updates and refer orders as needed to support patient care and follow-up.

Other Duties

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the coordinating office management.

Qualifications:

• Certified pharmacist (Certification is mandatory).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience in dispensing medicines and working in healthcare settings is preferred.
