Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug-related information to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations, and managing inventory. Additionally, the Pharmacist will monitor patient health and progress, offer advice on drug usage and potential side effects, and support overall health management initiatives for the community.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and regulations.
- Skills in inventory management, record-keeping, and prescription filling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and education.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting prescriptions and providing appropriate dosages.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and dispensing tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field; a valid pharmacist license.
- Prior experience in retail or hospital pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.
