Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist at Janani Mithra Pharmacy, located in Maradu, Manjummel, Palachuvadu, Vadakkekotta, Vytilla, Kaloor, Pazhayannur, Peruvemba, Thathamangalam, Valluvambram. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on proper usage, and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, collaborating with healthcare teams, and assisting in health education initiatives to promote awareness about medicines and therapies. The role also involves ensuring a high level of customer service and addressing queries related to pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, medicine dispensing, and dosage administration
• Skills in inventory management and regulatory compliance with pharmacy guidelines
• Strong communication and customer service skills to provide patient counseling and address inquiries
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and contribute to health education programs
• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy or related field (required)
• State licensing or registration as a pharmacist (required)
• Familiarity with healthcare initiatives for underserved communities is an advantage
