Role Overview
The PGT Political Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Political Science at the Senior Secondary level (Classes XIXII), helping students understand political theory, Indian Constitution, governance, comparative politics, and international relations, while preparing them for board examinations and higher studies.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Political Science as per CBSE curriculum for Classes XIXII
Prepare lesson plans, notes, and exam-oriented study materials
Conduct engaging classroom discussions and concept-based learning
Train students in analytical writing and answer presentation
Conduct tests, assignments, and project evaluations
Guide students for board examinations and competitive pathways
Encourage participation in debates, MUNs, and socio-political activities
Use technology and current affairs references in teaching
Maintain discipline and an academically positive classroom environment
Eligibility Criteria
Master's Degree in Political Science
B.Ed. degree (mandatory as per norms)
35 Years Senior Secondary Teaching Experience Preferred
Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus and exam pattern
Good communication and classroom management skills
