Job Title: PGT Teacher – Political Science & History

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable
PGT Teacher (Political Science & History) to teach
Classes 9–12. The candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent online teaching skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned with the
CBSE/NIOS curriculum. The role focuses on developing analytical thinking, conceptual clarity, and exam readiness among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured and engaging lessons in Political Science and History for Classes 9–12 as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, question papers, and assessments aligned with board patterns.
- Guide students in board exam preparation using effective strategies, including answer writing practice and case-based discussions.
- Develop and use digital teaching aids such as PPTs, timelines, maps, videos, and quizzes.
- Conduct interactive online classes ensuring student participation and engagement.
- Track student performance, maintain records, and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Encourage critical thinking, interpretation of historical events, and understanding of political systems and concepts.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and parent-teacher meetings.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in Political Science / History from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
- CTET / State TET qualified (as per institutional norms).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience for Classes 9–12 preferred.
- Strong command over English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to teach effectively in an online environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in online platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, MS Teams, or LMS tools.
- Ability to create engaging digital content (PPTs, timelines, maps, worksheets, quizzes).
- Familiarity with online assessments and virtual classroom management.
Preferred Skills
- Strong grasp of CBSE board exam pattern and evaluation criteria
- Ability to simplify complex political theories and historical concepts
- Student engagement and interactive teaching techniques
- Adaptability to EdTech platforms
