Job Summary
We are looking for a highly qualified and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Chemistry concepts and laboratory skills, along with experience in teaching senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) as per the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to students of Grades 11 & 12 following the CBSE syllabus.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to build conceptual understanding and application-based learning.
- Conduct practical experiments and laboratory sessions to enhance hands-on learning.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams (JEE/NEET).
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including technology-based learning and real-world applications.
- Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement remedial measures.
- Encourage participation in Science Olympiads, research projects, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain academic records and ensure proper safety measures in the chemistry lab.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, new advancements in Chemistry, and best teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry + B.Ed (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge in Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for better student understanding.
- Proficiency in integrating technology and digital tools into teaching.
- Passion for teaching and motivating students.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
- Participation in science fairs, research projects, and school activities.
