Job Description
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the price implementation and ongoing maintenance of approved prices within the invoicing system, which is crucial for dealers to generate accurate invoices. A key aspect of this role involves the timely and accurate creation of Intercompany and Dealer Invoices for vehicles sold and sourced across Europe. The analyst will be instrumental in developing pricing logics based on input documents and conducting thorough quality checks using sample pro-forma invoices to guarantee high-quality output. Furthermore, the position requires proactive reporting of issues to relevant teams, troubleshooting complex logic and pricing discrepancies in collaboration with upstream partners, and retesting invoice mismatches once confirmed resolutions are in place. The role also involves understanding market inputs, updating system data against target dates, and developing system rules, as well as addressing issues identified during audits or dealer claims.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain approved prices in the invoicing system to enable dealer invoice generation.
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of Intercompany and Dealer Invoices for vehicles sold and sourced in Europe.
- Develop pricing logics by referring to input documents and perform quality checks by verifying sample pro-forma invoices.
- Report and notify issues to the appropriate team on a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot issues about logics and prices by working with upstream teams.
- Retest invoice mismatches after receiving confirmation from the respective team.
- Clearly understand requests and inputs received from the market.
- Update inputs in the system as per the target date provided by the market.
- Analyze and develop rules to be set in the system.
- Troubleshoot issues identified in internal/external audits or claims from dealers.
- Record inputs received from the Pricing Analyst team in the shared drive as per SOP.
- Analyze and record audit findings in dealer invoices and Sox documents.
Qualifications
UG Fresher / 2 years or above experience, Graduate 1 year or above, B.Com, M.com, MBA (correspondence), BSC/MSC Math/Statistics.
Experience: Previous experience in Invocing / Vehicle Related Activities is preferable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS-Office Tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge in Business Intelligent Tools (Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau) is an added advantage.
Soft Skills:
Ability to handle assignments independently.
Maintain data integrity and accuracy and use data to identify and solve problems.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with various business partners.
Quick learner of processes and develop a strong understanding of business requirements.
