Responsibilities
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies to evaluate and optimize production and recovery of oil and gas.
- Design and implement well tests, including pressure build-up and drawdown tests.
- Analyze geological and geophysical data to assess potential drilling locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop drilling plans and operational strategies.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
- Strong understanding of drilling operations and techniques.
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to petroleum engineering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
