Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support pricing strategies for Motor Insurance products based on portfolio trends and emerging market patterns.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with analytics and actuarial teams to gather detailed pricing inputs, including OEM/Non-OEM segmentation and scheme-level insights.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of financial models to support pricing decisions.
  • Prepare and present monthly product performance decks for steering committee meetings, including monitoring of marginal costs and execution of corrective actions.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and prescriptive recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and refine pricing models to improve profitability and market competitiveness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 57 years of experience in Insurance product pricing.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience in Motor Insurance pricing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • High proficiency in analytical tools including VBA, MS Excel, and financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey data-driven insights clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment and presenting findings to senior management.
