Performance tuning

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-quality Pega applications.
• Building case types, flows, data transforms, activities, integrations, and UI components.
• Participating in design sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Working on integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP).
• Providing production support, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Ensuring compliance with Pega guardrails and reusable frameworks.

Technical Skills Required:

• Core Pega Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Pega PRPC 7.x/8.x
• Case Management Declarative rules Data Pages Decision RulesProficiency with Flows, Flow Actions, Sections, Harnesses, and UI rules
• Strong understanding of Activities, Data Transforms, and Clipboard concepts
• Experience with Pega Integration (SOAP, REST, Connectors, Services)
• Knowledge of Agents, Job Schedulers, Queue Processors
• Good understanding of Work Delegation, Work Parties, SLA rules
• Performance tuning Log analysis
• Good knowledge of Report Definitions, BIX and exporting data
• Branching strategy Check-outsAdvanced Pega Skills
• Experience with Pega Constellation (good to have)
• Strong knowledge of PegaDecisioning / CDH (optional but preferred)
• Exposure to Pega Mobility , Offline rules, and SSO configuration
• Authentication profilesGood to Have Cloud / DevOps / Tools
• Knowledge of Pega Deployment Manager , CICD, and pipelines
• Experience with Agile development methodology (Scrum)
• Basic understanding of AWS / Azure cloud environments (preferred)
• Mandatory Certifications Pega CSA Pega CSSALSA is an added advantage
