Performance Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing:
• Conduct end-to-end performance testing using JMeter to assess application performance under load, stress, and scalability conditions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers to optimize code, configurations, and infrastructure for better performance.
• Performance Engineering:
• Use APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics) and profiling tools (e.g., JProfiler, JVisualVM) to monitor and analyze the performance of applications in real-time.
• Perform detailed bottleneck analysis to identify areas for improvement in both the application code and system infrastructure.
• SQL & Database Performance Analysis:
• Analyze database performance, optimize queries, and tune SQL statements for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with DBAs and developers to identify and resolve database-related performance issues.
• Data Analysis & Visualization:
• Perform data analysis and create visualizations to present performance test results and bottleneck analysis in an understandable format for stakeholders.
• Develop reports that highlight performance trends, key findings, and actionable recommendations.
• End-to-End Performance Analysis:
• Analyze the overall performance of the application, from the front-end UI to the back-end databases and APIs, identifying areas where performance improvements are needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes and retest after optimizations.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on performance testing experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• 5+ years of experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• 4+ years of experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics) OR monitoring tools OR profiling tools (e.g., JProfiler, JVisualVM).
• Expertise in performance bottleneck analysis across different layers of an application stack (front-end, back-end, database).
• Strong experience in SQL and DB analysis for performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis and visualization to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.

• Hands-on experience with end-to-end performance analysis, optimizing systems for scalability and reliability.
