Job Description :

Key responsibilities

Independently execute Performance testing projects, including end-to-end activities in the performance testing life cycle.

Understand business requirements and performance testing requirements, scope, plan, design and conduct performance tests.

Create performance testing approach, strategy, workload analysis, create workload model and effort estimation.

Design, develop and review Performance Test scripts using VuGen/ HP LoadRunner Enterprise/ Performance center.

Analyze and create/ procure test data required for performance testing, develop scripts in case of large data volumes.

Ensure performance test readiness including test environment, test data, performance testing lab and monitoring tools/ configuration.

Configure server, network monitors using Micro Focus SiteScope

Plan, coordinate and execute performance tests and analyze test results (LoadRunner results, monitoring data, application server logs, etc.).

Create and publish performance test reports as needed, covering current performance levels, bottlenecks and recommendations for performance optimization/ improvements. Detect and report defects, collaborate with multiple teams (Dev, Architects PM) to resolve any performance issues, track resolution and validate fixes.

Continuous testing experience with performance testing using Azure DevOps or similar tool stack.

Ensure quality and standard process in delivery, suggest process improvements.

Performance Center Administration, lab management

Identify application monitoring requirements, propose ongoing monitoring solutions, develop monitoring scripts/ enhancements using VuGen, implement monitoring using Micro Focus Application Performance Management (APM).

APM administration, maintenance of monitoring scripts and support. Experience and Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing/ Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience using LoadRunner/ Performance Centre

Must have thorough understanding of performance testing concepts and rich hands-on experience with all activities in the performance testing life cycle

Must have hands-on experience with at least one infrastructure monitoring tool such as SiteScope, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, NewRelic, etc.

Knowledge of SQL

Ability to work independently with no or minimum supervision, scope and estimate work, track progress, manage delivery and address issues.

Good understanding of Azure/ DevOps methodologies
