Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter along with solid proficiency in Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance test scenarios, while also contributing to functional and regression testing activities. This role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Testing
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
- Conduct load, stress, scalability, endurance, and spike testing based on requirements.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed performance testing reports and share insights with development and business teams.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, and architects to troubleshoot performance issues.
Manual Testing
- Develop and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all modules.
- Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to test planning.
- Support UAT and production validation activities.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing.
- Hands-on in different types of performance testing (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance).
- Strong knowledge of Performance Test Planning and Performance Metrics Analysis.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing, including test case design and execution.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic understanding of SQL for validating backend data (MySQL/Oracle).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.) is an added advantage.

Qualifications
