Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible for designing test scenarios/ cases and perform performance test execution. Also, automate load/stress/endurance test scripts & execute the same during release cycle. Candidate is expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.

Candidates should have experience in JMeter, LoadRunner, core java, GIT Bitbucket & SQL. The candidate should be well versed in working effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsible for Performance Testing such as load, stress, endurance, etc. testing

Onshore coordination (Business Analyst , Development Team and APS Team Etc )

Direct Responsibilities

  • Automation - Performance Testing experience from 9 to 12
  • Experience working with any of the automation tools like JMeter, LoadRunner
  • Good knowledge of Java used for scripting
  • Experience in API, database, MQ, Batch performance testing would be an added advantage
  • Having knowledge on any of KYC, AML, Peoplesoft or CRM domain
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Understanding testing principles and practices
  • Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases
  • Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
  • Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience
  • Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
  • Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
  • Must have good analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
  • Must be flexible, independent.
  • Perform other testing-related duties as required

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Experience in JMeter, LoadRunner, Postman and Core JAVA are MUST
  • Knowledge of GIT, Bit Bucket
  • Hands-on experience on SQL
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of test management tools is required JIRA, ALM
  • 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in performance Scripting, Execution and Reporting
  • 6+ years of strong experience in Test Design & Test Execution (Performance testing) of Banking applications
  • Strong Experience in Test Planning & Estimation

Knowledge

  • Knowledge on Testing tools like ALM ( Microfocus QC ), JIRA, Selenium ( TestNG JAVA ), Postman, RestAssured, BDD-Cucumber

Specific Qualifications (if Required)

  • Around 6-8 years of experience in Non-Functional testing using JMeter/LoadRunner
  • Around 8-12 years of experience in performance Testing
  • Working Knowledge of at least one Database (Oracle/MS SQL)
  • Banking domain knowledge mandatory
