Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in
JUnit or JMeter and hands-on exposure to the
Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing performance test plans to ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of Guidewire applications under load.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for Guidewire applications.
- Use JUnit and/or JMeter to simulate realistic user workloads.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work with development teams to tune application performance.
- Create performance test scripts and frameworks aligned with business scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, functional testers, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute performance testing strategies.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
- Prepare detailed test reports and performance metrics for stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of performance testing experience with JUnit and/or JMeter.
- Hands-on experience testing Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
- Strong knowledge of Java, GOSU (preferred), and scripting for performance testing.
- Familiarity with Guidewire integration points and workflows.
- Experience in analyzing GC logs, heap dumps, and other performance artifacts.
- Good understanding of HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and web application architecture.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud or AWS environments.
- Knowledge of insurance business processes and P&C domain.
