Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter/LoadRunner to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure application stability, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter/LoadRunner
- Conduct Load, Stress, Endurance, and Spike testing
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations
- Monitor application performance using logs, graphs, and reports
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues
- Prepare detailed performance test reports and share insights with stakeholders
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (if applicable)
- Ensure system performance meets SLAs and business requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter/LoadRunner
- Good understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience in testing Web applications, APIs, and Microservices
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, TCP protocols
- Experience with SQL queries for data validation
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands
- Ability to analyze JVM, application, and server metrics
