Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-10 years testing experience
• Strong hands on performance testing
• jMeter experience, load testing
• Hands on experience gathering requirements, completing test plans and script execution

Nice to Have

• Git
• App Dynamics
• Performance analysis skills using any tools for Application Monitoring, DB analysis and Network traces.

About the Role

A performance test engineer's primary responsibility is the creation and maintenance of performance test plans, utilizing JMeter load testing software to inject load, analyzing metrics from application and system logs, and simulating system behavior to improve the performance and reliability of applications. A typical candidate should be able to handle the performance testing from the beginning to end like requirements gatherings, test plans, scripts execution, Analysis and reporting with minimal supervision. Senior performance engineer should be able to assist and demonstrate the best practices to do performance testing.
