Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in performance testing methodologies, tools, and performance monitoring solutions. The role involves designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.

Conduct various types of performance testing, including:

Load Testing

Stress Testing

Spike Testing

Soak/Endurance Testing

Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks in applications, databases, and infrastructure.

Monitor application performance using APM and observability tools.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance-related issues.

Create detailed performance reports and provide recommendations for optimization.

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Validate system scalability, stability, and reliability across different environments.

Perform SQL and database performance analysis to identify and address database bottlenecks.

Required Skills

Performance Testing

Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter

Experience with Grafana k6

Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices

API & Application Testing

Experience testing REST APIs

Good understanding of Microservices Architecture

Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols

CI/CD & DevOps

Experience with:

Azure DevOps

Jenkins

GitHub Actions

Monitoring & APM Tools

Experience with performance monitoring tools such as:

Grafana

Dynatrace

AppDynamics

Other APM/Observability tools

Cloud Platforms

Experience working with Microsoft Azure (Preferred)

Containerization & Orchestration (Good to Have)

Docker

Kubernetes

Database Skills

Strong SQL knowledge

Database performance analysis and tuning

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
