- Proven ability to implement and drive performance test methodologies, principles, patterns, and practices across multiple parallel initiatives
- Experience applying software design principles and patterns to performance scripts and tests to promote reusability, extensibility, and valid test simulation execution
- Ability to define applicable performance metrics and leverage application monitoring tools to capture or convert to bellwether performance metrics that correlate with the targeted system bottleneck
- Software engineering skills with extensive experience writing code to automate configuration, automated use case and API work flow along with the ability to design, create, and configuring performance test scenarios in an enterprise environment
- Experience quantifying performance and scalability with the use of performance models
- Ability to lead and mentor other engineers on structured, predictable performance engineering techniques
- Proven ability to work across areas in an enterprise organization providing technical leadership and guidance in Vertex Performance Engineering Methodology and practices
