Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Performance Test Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, scripting, and executing complex performance tests using JMeter.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike tests.
- Scripting & Execution: Develop advanced, reusable JMeter scripts for web, API, and microservices-based applications.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze performance test results, identify root causes of bottlenecks (memory leaks, CPU utilization, DB issues), and provide detailed reports with actionable tuning recommendations.
- Monitoring: Utilize APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana) to monitor system performance during testing.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) to support continuous performance testing.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve performance issues and align on non-functional requirements (NFRs).
Required Technical Skills
- Tool Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in JMeter.
- Scripting Proficiency: Strong capabilities in writing custom code using Groovy, BeanShell, or Python within JMeter.
- Monitoring Tools: Proven experience with at least one APM tool (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk).
- Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL for preparing test data and analyzing database performance bottlenecks.
- Protocols: In-depth knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST/SOAP API protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education : BTech / B.E.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance engineering principles.
