We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong experience in end-to-end performance testing, Linux systems, and containerized/cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in load testing, performance tuning, and result analysis, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and execute performance test scripts for enterprise applications.
- Lead end-to-end performance testing and tuning, including test planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conduct load testing in Linux, OpenShift, and virtualized environments.
- Perform performance testing within CI/CD pipelines (good to have).
- Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning improvements.
- Perform system-level tuning, including CPU, memory, disk, and network optimization.
- Tune Linux kernel parameters to improve system performance.
- Present performance insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Linux, OpenShift, and virtualization-based load testing.
- Deep knowledge of Linux internals and system performance tuning (CPU, memory, disk, network, kernel parameters).
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter (NeoLoad is optional).
- Experience working with applications built on .NET, Java, and AWS Cloud environments.
- Strong performance analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience integrating performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to APM and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
- Agile/Scrum knowledge or certification.
