- Periodical updates to fund performance presentation materials, prepared for investor reporting purposes, on monthly and quarterly basis
- Generate backend excel support document from internal portfolio management systems for the purpose of updating the materials
- Validate fund data against the internal portfolio management systems and highlight differences and discrepancies
- Aggregate and analyze relevant data, encompassing historical performance, risk metrics, allocation changes and other quantitative metrics about various portfolios
- Analyze performance attribution data across funds, on the backdrop of financial markets environment and understanding its impact on returns
- Respond to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and investor inquiries, update investor portals, and handle ad hoc requests from investors/LPs, internal teams as well as external consultants
- Draft responses to RFPs, including coordinating with internal teams as needed; ensure adherence to timelines while sharing the final documents
- Ensure the best standards of formatting are met, stay updated with any changes to underlying templates; objective would be to present material in a clear and digestible format and in line with clients bespoke requirements
- Address any legal or compliance-related comments that arise during the review process
- Prepare visually appealing and professional presentations, with investors readability and accessibility in mind
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients, prospects, and consultants for self as well as juniors on the team
- Identify and implement efficiencies in the marketing materials process by continuously assessing areas for improvement
- Provide support and guidance to team members on any other ad hoc tasks that come up
- Review of tasks performed by juniors, planning workflow deliverables, and handling client communication
- Overall project management, including service delivery, stakeholder management and quality control
- Work with other internal departments, such as legal / compliance, finance, and others, to gather information and ensure reports are comprehensive and accurate
Requirements / qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance / CFA / CA, with 6-10 years of experience in private markets, or the financial service industry would be preferred
- Excellent MS Excel skills (including advanced excel) and MS Power point skills
- Prior experience in managing teams and client, handling service delivery and other stakeholder management activities
- Proactive in planning and working closely with client in assessing requirements and aligning the team towards customer focus
- Effective communication skills with ability to connect with clients, over phone and email, and understand the requirements and focus on delivery
- Strong analytical rigour and ability to relate to financial markets
- Display strong attention to detail to deliver high level of accuracy and quality
- Flexibility to stretch and work towards closure of time-sensitive deliverables and provide oversight and guidance as needed
- Self-starter and is persistent in executing the workflows to ensure closure until the end for self as well as the team
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
