Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. On-site, full-time.

Ecoright is a D2C sustainable lifestyle brand that ships to 60+ countries. We build products people are proud to carry, and we're looking for someone who can make sure the right people see them.

This isn't an agency role. You'll work directly with the founder and the marketing team, sitting in our Ahmedabad office, with full visibility into product, margin, and inventory data. The decisions you make in the ad accounts will show up in the next week's revenue, which is either exciting or terrifying depending on how you're wired. We hope it's the first one.

The role

We're hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to take ownership of paid acquisition across our D2C brands. Strategy direction comes from the founder. The day-to-day execution, optimisation, and the calls that need to be made inside the ad accounts are yours.

What you'll actually do

Paid media is most of your time.

  • Plan, launch, and optimise Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) across all three brands.
  • Own the full funnel: prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes. Default budget split starts at roughly 70/30 prospecting to retargeting; you decide when to flex it.
  • Manage daily budgets, bidding, and audience structures across multiple Shopify stores.
  • Run structured creative testing. Aim for 10 to 15 new ad variations per brand per month, and kill underperformers fast.
  • Build campaign structures that scale (Advantage+ Shopping, Search + Shopping splits, etc.) without resetting learning phases every other week.

Tracking, analytics, reporting.

  • Own Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) setup and health for each Shopify store. If CAPI breaks, you fix it.
  • Maintain GA4, Google Tag Manager, and UTM hygiene across all paid traffic.
  • Build a weekly dashboard (Looker Studio or Sheets) covering spend, ROAS, MER, CAC, and AOV per brand.
  • Cross-reference Meta-reported ROAS against Shopify revenue weekly. Flag attribution mismatches early. We'd rather know.

Creative briefing and CRO.

  • Brief our designers and UGC creators on what to make next, based on what's actually working in the ad account.
  • Spot landing page and PDP issues that are killing conversion (slow load, weak hero, broken mobile flow) and flag them with proposed fixes.
  • Run light A/B tests on landing pages and ad sets. Document what you learn. We want a knowledge base, not just a campaign log.

The background we're looking for

These are the non-negotiables. If you're not comfortable with at least 80% of this list, the role probably isn't for you, and that's okay.

  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads work for a D2C or e-commerce brand. Agency experience counts. B2B-only experience doesn't translate well here.
  • You've personally managed monthly ad spend of at least ₹3 to 5 lakh and can talk through the decisions you made, not just the dashboards you watched.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify: campaign tags, UTM links, the Meta channel app, basic theme troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Events Manager. You can debug a broken pixel without panicking.
  • Excel and Google Sheets at a level where pivots, lookups, and cohort views are second nature.
  • You can read a P&L well enough to know the difference between ROAS, MER, contribution margin, and CAC payback.

Nice to have

  • Experience with international Shopify stores (currency, shipping, regional ad targeting).
  • Klaviyo, MoEngage, or another email/SMS automation tool.
  • Some exposure to influencer or affiliate channels alongside paid media.
  • Light hands-on with Photoshop or Canva for last-minute creative tweaks.
