We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who can drive growth through Meta Ads as the primary channel, while also contributing significantly to Google Ads and retention marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience scaling D2C/E-Commerce brands and understands how acquisition, retention, and profitability work together.

Role Overview

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will primarily own and scale Meta and Google Ads for Zavya. You will be responsible for campaign strategy, execution, optimization, creative testing, and budget allocation to drive profitable growth.

In addition, you will work on retention marketing initiatives across WhatsApp, Email, Push Notifications, and others to maximize customer lifetime value.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked directly with a D2C brand and understands the complete customer growth funnel—from acquisition to repeat purchases.

Key Responsibilities

Meta Ads (Primary Focus)

  • Own end-to-end performance marketing on Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Plan, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, catalog, and conversion objectives.
  • Manage daily budgets and improve campaign efficiency while maintaining ROAS and CAC targets.
  • Conduct audience, creative, offer, and landing page testing.
  • Identify winning campaigns and scale them profitably.
  • Monitor and improve key metrics including ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC, CPM, MER, and revenue contribution.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to build high-performing ad creatives and hooks.

Google Ads

  • Manage and optimize Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and UAC.
  • Improve customer acquisition through keyword optimization, audience targeting, and bid strategy improvements.
  • Identify incremental growth opportunities across Google channels.

Retention Marketing

  • Work closely for CRM on WhatsApp, Email, Push Notification, and SMS campaigns.
  • Support customer retention, reactivation, and repeat purchase initiatives.
  • Analyze customer cohorts and retention metrics to improve LTV and repeat rate.
  • Suggest and implement lifecycle marketing experiments.

Analytics & Growth

  • Track and report performance across acquisition and retention funnels.
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build actionable insights using platform data, GA4, Shopify, and internal reports.
  • Continuously experiment with creatives, audiences, offers, and customer journeys.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of hands-on Performance Marketing experience.
  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Ads.
  • Experience managing meaningful monthly advertising budgets.
  • Strong understanding of D2C growth metrics including ROAS, CAC, CPA, CTR, CPC, CPM, AOV, LTV etc.
  • Ability to independently launch, optimize, and scale campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with a D2C/E-Commerce brand (preferred over agency-only experience).
  • Experience in Jewellery, Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, or Consumer Brands.
  • Familiarity with:

  • WhatsApp Marketing
  • Email Marketing Platforms
  • Push Notification Tools
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue through Meta Ads.
