Job Description

About Us

Sadhna.co is a fast-growing Indian D2C brand in the wellness and home fragrance space. We are looking for a driven Performance Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our paid acquisition channels and help us scale to the next level.

Role Overview

You will own the entire paid marketing function across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads. This role is currently handled by the founder, so you will be stepping into a high-impact position with direct access to leadership, existing campaign data, and proven creatives. Your primary goal is to scale revenue profitably while freeing up the founder's bandwidth for strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management — Plan, execute, and optimise Meta and Google ad campaigns end-to-end, including search, shopping, display, Performance Max, and Advantage+ campaigns.

Budget & ROAS Ownership — Manage monthly ad budgets of 15–25L+ with full accountability for blended ROAS, CPA, and contribution margin targets.

Creative Strategy — Write ad scripts, brief the design and video teams on creatives, and run structured A/B tests on hooks, formats, and offers.

Analytics & Reporting — Build and maintain daily/weekly dashboards tracking spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, CTR, and AOV. Present insights and action plans to the founder.

Audience & Funnel Strategy — Develop and refine audience targeting, lookalikes, retargeting funnels, and landing page strategies for conversion rate improvement.

Platform Operations — Handle pixel/CAPI setup, catalogue management, UTM tracking, attribution troubleshooting, and billing/GST-related issues on ad platforms.

Scaling & Experimentation — Identify new channels, campaign types, and growth opportunities. Plan and execute for festival sales, seasonal peaks, and new product launches.

Collaboration — Work closely with the design team (3 designers), video team (2 editors), and marketplace team to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Must-Have Requirements

2–4 years of hands-on experience running Meta Ads and Google Ads for a D2C or e-commerce brand in India. Proven track record of managing monthly ad spends of 10L+ with demonstrable ROAS outcomes. Strong understanding of Meta Business Manager, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax), and analytics tools (GA4, Meta Events Manager). Experience with ad scripting — ability to write hooks, headlines, and persuasive ad copy in Hindi and English. Familiarity with COD-heavy D2C economics: RTO impact on ROAS, blended vs. platform ROAS, contribution margin thinking. Comfort with data — ability to read P&L dashboards, calculate breakeven ROAS, and make budget allocation decisions based on numbers.

Good-to-Have

Experience in the wellness, fragrance, spiritual, or FMCG product category. Familiarity with Shopify, and tools like Shiprocket, GoKwik, or similar D2C stack. Exposure to retention marketing (email, SMS, WhatsApp flows) — you may help set this up as a secondary responsibility. Understanding of Amazon/Flipkart advertising as a bonus (managed by the marketplace team, but cross-channel thinking is valued). Experience scaling a brand from 2–5 Cr/month to 10 Cr/month.

What You'll Get

Direct access to the founder with full transparency on business numbers, margins, and strategy. Ownership of a high-budget, high-impact function from day one — no red tape. Existing campaign data, proven creatives, and a support team (designers + video editors) ready to execute your briefs. Performance-linked bonuses tied to revenue and profitability milestones. A fast-moving environment where your work directly impacts the bottom line.

Interview Process

Round 1: Portfolio review — share past campaign dashboards, ROAS numbers, and case studies. Round 2: Live audit — review our current Meta/Google ad account and share your observations and 30-day plan. Round 3: Founder conversation — culture fit, long-term alignment, and offer discussion.

How to Apply

  • Email your CV and cover letter to [Confidential Information] with the subject line Performance Marketing Manager Application. Include: (a) brands you've worked with and monthly ad budgets managed, (b) best ROAS you've achieved and how, and (c) your availability to join. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
