About The Opportunity

A fast-growth business operating in the D2C and e-commerce retail sector in India, focused on scaling digitally native consumer brands via performance-led acquisition and retention strategies. We drive measurable unit-economics improvements across paid social, search, programmatic, and owned-channel retention to grow revenue and customer lifetime value. This is an onsite role based in India.

Role Title: Performance Marketing Manager - D2C / Ecommerce

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end paid acquisition for D2C/ecommerce: strategy, channel mix, campaign setup, budget allocation, bidding, and performance optimization to maximize ROAS and scale growth.
  • Design and run rigorous creative and audience A/B tests; collaborate with creative and product teams to iterate ad formats, messaging, and landing experiences that improve CTR and conversion rates.
  • Manage day-to-day execution across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and programmatic channels; implement targeting, bid strategies, and budget pacing to meet acquisition KPIs.
  • Instrument and validate tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, server-side events); use data pipelines and BI dashboards to diagnose funnel drop-offs and surface optimization opportunities.
  • Drive retention and lifecycle campaigns in owned channels (email/SMS) to lift LTV, reduce CAC payback, and increase repeat purchase frequency.
  • Create repeatable reporting, automation playbooks, and performance frameworks; mentor junior marketers and share learnings across teams.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Comfort managing significant monthly ad spend and meeting aggressive ROAS/CAC targets.
  • On-site presence required in India.
