Performance Marketer — The Quad
We run paid ads across Meta and Google, and we're actively building our LinkedIn presence. This role owns the creative behind all of it — and the results that follow.

The Role
As our Performance Marketer, you'll own the creative for paid ads — video and static — across Meta and Google. You'll work closely with our external performance marketing agency, but you're not just executing briefs. You'll understand what's working, challenge what isn't, and drive what comes next.
Alongside ads, you'll own and grow The Quad's LinkedIn presence — a channel we're investing in seriously.
This role is for someone who thinks before they create, and creates with the numbers in mind.
What You'll Be Doing
Ad Creative Ownership
- Think deeply about why an ad exists, what problem it solves, and what success looks like — before a single frame is created
- Script, direct, and provide edit notes for always-on and campaign-specific ads across Meta and Google
- Repurpose Instagram content for paid channels where relevant
Agency & Vendor Management
- Brief the external performance marketing agency clearly and hold them accountable to results
- Review their recommendations critically — push back where needed
- Coordinate with external videography, editing, and design teams for bigger productions
- Handle basic design and editing yourself for smaller, faster turnarounds
Performance & Optimisation
- Regularly review campaign performance data
- Translate numbers into creative decisions — what to kill, what to scale, what to test next
LinkedIn Growth
- Own The Quad's LinkedIn page
- Publish 2–3 posts per week — building brand presence and audience
Must-Haves
- Sharp, specific writing skills — strong copy with a clear point of view, for both ads and LinkedIn
- Deep understanding of what makes ad creative work — hook, format, CTA, and the reasoning behind each
- Design proficiency — Canva is fine, but you should deliver polished creatives independently
- Basic video editing — simple cuts should not need to go to an external editor
- Comfortable on camera and on set — you'll shoot content yourself and coordinate bigger productions
- Hands-on exposure to Meta and Google Ads — you need to understand how content performs on paid channels
- Data-literate — able to read performance metrics and translate them into creative action
Good to Have
- Experience working with or alongside an external agency
