Performance Marketer
Location: Delhi, India
Experience: Mid Level (2–3 years)
About the Company
Elation is a small, strategic marketing and content studio built to help brands earn attention, convert it into recall, and turn that recall into revenue. We work closely with D2C brands, founders, CXOs, creators, coaches, consultants, and consumer businesses across India, Singapore, and Dubai. Our approach is hands-on, high-ownership, and intentionally lean, so the team stays close to outcomes, not process for process's sake. We care about strong thinking, sharp execution, and the ability to shape systems that keep improving over time. The environment suits people who want real responsibility early, enjoy working across functions, and are comfortable with evolving structures in a growing studio. Elation values reliability, clear communication, and work that creates measurable business impact for clients. We are looking for people who want to learn fast, contribute deeply, and help build brands that people remember and choose.
Company Practices & Ways of Working
- We believe in giving full credit for the work you create, so campaign wins and learning moments are visible, owned, and shared openly.
- We are comfortable keeping the work public, which means there is no NDA-style secrecy around the campaigns and thinking you contribute here.
- The team is small, fast-moving, and high-ownership, with execution, excitement, and communication at the center of how we work.
- As a startup, everyone touches multiple parts of the work, so you will often do a little of everything rather than staying in one narrow lane.
About the Role
The Performance Marketer will own paid media execution with a clear focus on three outcomes: Attention, Recall, and Revenue. In Attention, you will work on top-of-funnel campaigns that create demand and visibility, especially on platforms where CPM matters and awareness-led formats dominate, such as YouTube video promotions and Instagram reel promotions. In Recall, you will build retargeting systems and improve how people remember the brand across Meta and Google. In Revenue, you will run end-to-end performance marketing that connects media spend to measurable business outcomes. The role suits someone who understands both experimentation and execution, can move confidently across the funnel, and is comfortable working in a fast-moving, startup-style environment where every campaign matters. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders while keeping performance, learning, and business impact at the center.
Key Responsibilities
- Own paid media across the full funnel, with clear responsibility for Attention, Recall, and Revenue. Connect every campaign to a defined business outcome instead of isolated platform metrics.
- Build and optimize top-of-funnel awareness campaigns on YouTube, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms. Focus on CPM efficiency, reach quality, and audience exposure that supports future conversion.
- Design and manage retargeting systems across Meta and Google to strengthen recall and move audiences closer to action. Use audience behavior to improve how the brand stays present in the buyer journey.
- Run end-to-end performance marketing campaigns across Meta and Google with strong control over structure, budget, and optimization. Own the path from setup to scale.
- Test creatives, audiences, and messaging in a structured way. Turn each campaign into a learning loop that improves the next round of execution.
- Maintain clean tracking, reporting, and measurement so decisions are grounded in reliable data. Keep attribution, UTMs, and conversion hygiene in order.
- Communicate insights clearly and openly with the team. Share wins, learnings, and next actions so everyone stays aligned and informed.
- Work across functions in a startup-style environment where responsibilities are broad and changing. Contribute where needed and keep momentum high.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads. Understand how to structure campaigns, manage spend, and optimize against business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of YouTube promotions and Instagram reel promotions for awareness-led performance. Know how to use high-CPM environments strategically rather than only chasing low-cost clicks.
- Deep understanding of retargeting, audience sequencing, and recall-building journeys. Be able to use Meta and Google as systems for bringing people back into the funnel.
- Ability to run end-to-end performance marketing with confidence. Handle setup, testing, optimization, and reporting without needing constant direction.
- Solid grasp of tracking and measurement, including UTMs, pixels, and conversion hygiene. Reliable data is essential for making sound decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear reporting. Translate raw performance into actions the team can use quickly.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with broad scope. Adapt fast, communicate well, and keep execution sharp even when priorities shift.
Additional Plus
- Experience with Manus or other AI tools that support marketing work is a plus, especially if you use them to speed up campaign execution or improve workflow quality.
- Background in content writing or creative design is valuable when used to support the content strategy team in building stronger campaigns, not as a substitute for the core performance role.
- Experience working with agencies is highly appreciated, since it often builds speed, adaptability, and a better understanding of cross-functional execution.
What You'll Bring
- A practical foundation in performance marketing, with enough hands-on experience to run campaigns independently and improve them through testing.
- A clear understanding of how to work across Attention, Recall, and Revenue without losing sight of the business outcome.
- A strong learning mindset, high ownership, and comfort with fast-moving execution in a startup environment.
- Good communication, strong judgment, and the ability to stay organized while working across multiple campaign priorities.
