Job Description

Project Role : Performance Engineer

Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand the software development lifecycle and architecture, while also focusing on performance testing and validation. You will analyze application performance management and contribute to capacity planning, ensuring that all aspects of performance engineering are addressed effectively. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem detection and resolution, allowing you to make significant contributions to the overall performance of the applications.

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to conduct capacity planning and performance validation.
  • Familiarity with application performance management techniques.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
