Job Title: Performance Engineer
Project Role Description:
As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose complex performance issues that the in-house performance testing team is unable to resolve. Your focus will encompass five key aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.
Must Have Skills:
- Dynatrace APM: Proficiency in Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and management.
Good to Have Skills:
- DevOps
- AppDynamics APM
- Splunk
- Datadog
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in performance engineering or related fields.
Educational Qualification:
- 15 years of full-time education.
Summary:
In this role, you will manage, configure, and optimize Dynatrace environments, ensuring the health of applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for setting up dashboards, creating alerts, analyzing performance data, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Install, configure, and maintain Dynatrace agents and environments.
- Monitor application performance, infrastructure, and services.
- Create and manage custom dashboards, reports, and alerts.
- Analyze performance metrics and resolve system bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to ensure effective performance management.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security through Dynatrace.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Dynatrace usage.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in Dynatrace administration, monitoring, and performance management.
- Experience in application development using at least one programming language and SQL.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, application performance, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, DevOps, or SRE practices is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Additional Information:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Dynatrace APM.
- Good to have certifications:
- Dynatrace Certified Associate
- Dynatrace Certified Professional
- Position is based in Indore, but open to other locations.
