Job Description

***6 MONTH CONTRACT***

Insight Global is hiring for a PeopleSoft HR Technical Consultant to Lead the design, development, and delivery of PeopleSoft HR solutions in a very fast passed environmentpartnering with HR stakeholders to turn business needs into secure, supportable outcomes. Own enhancements, integrations, and projects from discovery through deployment, ensuring excellent communication, user adoption, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years working with PeopleSoft HR; expert in PeopleCode, App Engine, Integration Broker, and Fluid UI.
  • Hands-on with HCM 9.2 / PeopleTools 8.56+ and full SDLC (requirements design build test deploy support).
  • Strong SQL and performance troubleshooting; experience with component configuration and security roles.
  • Proven project delivery (planning, RAID, stakeholder comms) and user-facing facilitation (workshops, UAT, training).
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and a self-starter mindset with ownership and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with validation process.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Power BI

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution design & development: Build and enhance PeopleSoft HCM and/or custom components using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, PS Query, Data Mover, Workflow, PIA, Fluid UI, and REST services.
  • Platform ownership: Operate within PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 / PeopleTools 8.56+ standards; contribute to fit/gap, configs, and technical specs.
  • Integrations: Design, implement, and support integrations with HR systems such as iCIMS, Ceridian, Concur, SAP and internal services via webservices.
  • Release & migration: Manage code/config migrations through Phire across DEVTSTUATPROD; partner with DB/infra teams on instance operations.
  • Project management: Plan, track, and deliver projects (scope, timeline, risks), coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors; drive crisp status updates and stakeholder alignment.
  • User interaction & adoption: Facilitate workshops, demos, UAT, and training; translate requirements into user-friendly solutions and documentation.
  • Security, privacy & compliance: Implement least-privilege roles, audit trails, and controls for HR PII; align with DLP/retention practices and validation requirements.
  • Operations: Troubleshoot incidents, perform monitoring, and continuously improve performance and reliability per runbook practices

Compensation:

$14/hr. to $17/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
