Role Responsibilities

L2/L3 Technical Support

  • Provide daily technical support for PeopleSoft Financial modules:
  • GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Billing, Contracts
  • Analyze and resolve system issues, performance bottlenecks, SQL tuning, and application errors.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes or reliable workarounds.
  • Troubleshoot App Server, Process Scheduler, and integration errors.

PeopleSoft Technical Development

  • Develop and maintain technical objects including:
  • Application Engine
  • PeopleCode
  • SQR & BI Publisher Reports
  • Component Interfaces
  • App Packages
  • Integration Broker Services
  • App Designer Objects
  • Implement customizations, enhancements, and minor project deliverables.

Integrations & Interfaces :

  • Support and troubleshoot inbound/outbound interfaces with external systems.
  • Work on Integration Broker (IB), API integrations, batch interfaces, and file-based integrations.
  • Monitor and optimize batch jobs / Process Scheduler.

Testing & Release Management :

  • Prepare technical test cases and support SIT/UAT cycles.
  • Assist with retrofitting and validation during PUM image updates.
  • Participate in release cycles, migrations, and version control (STAT/Phire).

Documentation & Compliance :

  • Create and maintain technical design documents, impact analyses, deployment guides.
  • Manage ticket documentation in ServiceNow / Jira / Remedy.
  • Ensure coding standards, audit compliance, and SOX adherence.

CrossFunctional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and onshore leads for environmentrelated support.
  • Provide timely updates and maintain professional client communication.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise :

  • Strong experience in:
  • PeopleCode
  • Application Engine
  • SQR
  • Integration Broker
  • Component Interface
  • App Designer
  • AWE (Approval Workflow Engine)
  • SQL / PS Query
  • Solid knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (GL/AP/AR/AM/PO/BI).
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, PIA, App Server, Process Scheduler, nVision/BIP.

Experience :

  • Proven experience in PeopleSoft FSCM technical support and development.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
