Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant

Location: Hyderabad / Noida (Hybrid)

Job Type: Fulltime

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant to support development, customization, and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PeopleTools and hands-on experience working across multiple HCM modules in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM technical components and customizations
• Work on PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, and Integration Broker
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and production issues across HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Develop and support interfaces, conversions, and data migration activities
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives
• Create and maintain technical design documents and code documentation
• Support testing activities (SIT/UAT) and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM technical development
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker)
• Good understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor)
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts
• Experience in handling production support and enhancements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades (e.g., 8.9 to 9.2) or PUM updates
• Exposure to Fluid UI and related technologies
• Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with reporting tools like BI Publisher, nVision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
