Overview Of The Role

We are seeking a strategically minded, commercially astute People Product & Innovation Lead to drive data-led decision making across our g lobal People (HR) product ecosystem .

This is NOT a traditional Product Owner role. In Flutter's federated operating model , ownership of People products (eg. Workday, Oracle HCM, learning platforms, AI tools) sits across multiple brands and functions. Your role is to act as a strategic advisor and decision enabler - bringing clarity, structure, and insight to complex product and investment decisions.

You will work closely with senior HR, Technology, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders , translating strategic priorities into value-driven product roadmaps and investment decisions .

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Driving Strategic Alignment in a Federated Model
  • Partner with senior HR and business leaders to shape People Product Strategy
  • Translate business priorities into clear, evidence-based product recommendations, showing a key interest in the Why behind their needs.
  • Develop structured decision frameworks to enable informed choices to guide investment and prioritisation
  • Influence product roadmap direction across regions without direct ownership
  • Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Optimisation
  • Evaluate product performance, adoption and value realisation
  • Identify opportunities for consolidation, optimisation and decommissioning
  • Enable scalable, standardised solutions across business
  • Commercial and Vendor Value Management
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships across People Tech landscape
  • Partner closely with Procurement on RFPs, renewals and contract optimizations
  • Drive cost efficiency, commercial value and improve capability utilisation
  • Hold vendors accountable through performance and value tracking
  • ROI and Value Realisation
  • Build robust business cases and investment frameworks
  • Track ROI, cost savings, and business impact of People products
  • Use data, benchmarking, and market insights to guide decisions
  • Embed a value-first mindset across all product investments
  • Innovation, AI & Automation
  • Champion responsible AI, automation, and digital innovation across HR
  • Identify opportunities to employee experience and operational efficiency

Experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5 to 8 years in Product Management, HR Technology, or Digital Transformation roles
  • Proven experience working with HR Systems (e.g, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow HR)
  • Experience operating within matrixed or federated global organizations
  • Demonstrated success in building business cases and tracking ROI
