Join Valmet and play a key role in shaping how our people and culture strategies come to life across the Pulp, Energy and Circularity Business Area.

As People & Culture Manager, you support nominated leaders globally and work in close collaboration with the Vice President, People & Culture, Pulp, Energy & Circularity and the wider Valmet People & Culture community. In this role, you make a real impact by driving and implementing global people and culture priorities that support business performance and sustainable growth.

In this role, you will work closely with Business Area leaders and leadership teams and act as a trusted People & Culture business partner. The preferred location is in Europe, India or China, in one of Valmet's current locations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in named Business Area leadership teams
  • Drive and implement the global People & Culture agenda in line with business priorities
  • Support leaders in global HR and people related matters
  • Support and coordinate capability building initiatives within the Business Area
  • Support and coach leaders in talent planning, development and succession activities
  • Facilitate and organize leadership development workshops and events when needed

As part of Valmet's global People & Culture community, you will also:

  • Collaborate with global and local People & Culture operations and functions
  • Coordinate Business Areaspecific People & Culture topics across multiple countries
  • Participate in or lead global development and transformation projects

What We Expect From You

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in a business HR / People & Culture role in a global environment
  • A strong understanding of core HR processes and people lifecycle management
  • Experience in change management and global transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

You are comfortable operating in a complex, matrixed organization and are confident in partnering with and coaching senior leaders. You combine strategic and analytical thinking with a structured and pragmatic way of working, and you collaborate naturally across cultures and boundaries.
