Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Pega applications, components, flows, activities, and interfaces according to business requirements.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure Pega solutions follow industry best practices and company standards.
  • Implement integrations between Pega and external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, or other protocols.
  • Debug and resolve application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, application configuration, and deployment guides.
  • Support UAT and production releases, including monitoring and incident resolution.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new features in Pega to enhance application capabilities and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Pega PRPC development.
  • Pega CSA (Certified System Architect) certification is required.
  • Proficiency in core Pega features including case types, flows, activities, data pages, and declarative rules.
  • Experience with Pega integration (SOAP, REST, connectors/services).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and BPM principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification.
  • Experience with Pega frameworks (e.g., Customer Service, Smart Dispute, Marketing).
  • Experience in DevOps tools and CI/CD processes with Pega.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in the financial services, insurance, or healthcare domain.
